We use the complete databases of the International Aging Research Portfolio (IARP, www.agingportfolio.org) that include many years of project funding data from the National Institutes of Health(NIH), European Commission(EC), Canadian and Australian research councils and many others. The system contains a compiled database of projects funded by the National Institutes of Health and the European Commission and uses semantic classification algorithms to automatically classify projects into research areas .

It also contains MEDLINE article abstracts under a license from the National Library of Medicine. The MEDLINE publication abstracts data was licensed from the NLM by the IARP project and is currently in the database.
